Man Killed By Train In Sacramento
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Authorities are investigating the death of a man who died Saturday afternoon after being struck by a freight train.
The Sacramento Police Department said a Union Pacific train hit the victim just before 3:00 p.m. on the railroad tracks near the intersection of 20th Street and C Street.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the incident have not been released.
