Man, 32, Found Dead In Sacramento; Suspect Arrested In Vallejo

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Authorities are investigating after a 32-year-old man was found dead.

The scene was at an apartment along the 4900 block of Little Oak Lane. According to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department, deputies showed up at the scene around 10 a.m. Thursday and found the man unresponsive on the floor of the apartment.

Medics soon pronounced the man dead.

At first, detectives didn't notice any obvious signs of trauma. However, investigators later found that some sort of physical assault happened earlier in the day.

It was this assault that led to the man's death, detectives believe.

A Sacramento man, 34-year-old James Lee Hill, was identified as the suspect in the incident. He was arrested in Vallejo later in the afternoon.

Hill is now facing a charge of murder.
