Improperly Disposed Of Fireworks Re-Ignite, Damages Homes
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Two homes in south Sacramento were damaged by a fire caused by fireworks that were improperly disposed of.
Just after 2 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters say fireworks tossed into a garbage can instead of a bucket of water re-ignited.
The side and roof of a home on Splendid Way were burned, and a house next door was also scorched.
At this time, there is no word on the amount of damage done to the two homes.
