Woman Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash On El Camino Avenue
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A deadly hit-and-run accident has closed El Camino Avenue in both directions near Business 80.
The accident that happened around 8 p.m. on Monday near the eastbound Business 80 onramp.
Investigators say a driver struck a bicyclist and left the scene.
The female bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
A female drive has been arrested in the crash and will undergo tests to see if she was driving under the influence. Police credit witnesses who gave the description that led to the discovery of the car.
