Grass Fires In South Sacramento Keep Crews Busy Overnight
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Fire crews in south Sacramento are mopping up after a grass fire sparked up in a field overnight.
The flames appeared to burn about a half acre of land behind Burlington Way and Deerhaven. Crews were able to get a handle on the fire in the early morning hours on Thursday.
This is close to where another grass fire sparked up Tuesday night along Cosumnes River Boulevard.
There's no word on how much land was scorched during that fire.
