SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — In case you weren't entirely sure it was November after two weekends of rain, Mother Nature's sending a blunt reminder in the form of a cold night.

The National Weather Service in Sacramento is warning temperatures are likely to drop to the low- to mid-30s Tuesday night into Wednesday morning in the valley region from Redding to Modesto.
The cold temperatures pose a threat to sensitive outdoor plants, which should be covered overnight.
