Fairfield Man Sentenced To Prison For Bombing
FAIRFIELD (CBS13) - A man convicted of setting off a bomb in a Fairfield neighborhood is headed to federal prison.
A judge sentenced 30-year-old Daniel Garcia to 35-years behind bars.
Last May, Garcia attached a bomb to an SUV and blew it up sending shrapnel into the vehicle and a nearby apartment building.
Testimony at trial showed the defendant had targeted a former tenant who owned the SUV.
