Elk Grove Police Seek Shell Station Robber

ELK GROVE (CBS13) — The Elk Grove Police Department released a surveillance photo on Thursday showing the suspect in a convenience store robbery earlier this month.

The Shell gas station at 9100 Harbour Pointe Drive, just off Interstate 5 and Laguna Boulevard in Elk Grove, was robbed at about 11:52 a.m. on Dec. 1. The suspect robbed the clerk and gunpoint. No one reported seeing a vehicle.

The suspect is described as an Asian-American male in his late late 20s or early 30s, 5 feet, 5 inches tall and about 160 pounds. The suspect was wearing a baseball cap, a black-and-white, zipper-front hooded sweatshirt over a blue collar shirt with a black crew-neck shirt underneath. He was wearing blue jeans and dark-colored shoes.

The suspect was armed with a silver-and-black semi-automatic pistol, police said.
