CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) – A man was arrested early Tuesday morning after allegedly shooting at police officers in Citrus Heights.

At some point during the alleged assault, the wife got out of the car at Sunrise Vista Driver near Greenback Lane and called police. Police got an Emergency Protective Order on behalf of the victim and went in search of the suspect at his home.

When officers arrived at the home just after 2:00 a.m., Fullmer fired a shotgun round through the frame of a sliding glass door feet from where the officers were standing.

Fullmer surrendered to officers several minutes later after being ordered to give up.

No one was hurt in the shooting.

Fullmer was booked into the Sacramento County Jail for domestic violence and weapons violations. He was on probation out of Stanislaus County for burglary and was recently released on bail for an unrelated burglary. He is being held on $115,000 bail.
