Deuce's Blog: Bad Pitch, Bad "D" and Bad Fan

By Dave "Deuce" Mason

21 Questions about 50 cent's first pitch

Ok maybe just one: did he throw that pitch on purpose?

50 Cent's Wild First Pitch Gets the Major League Treatment by MLBFanCave on YouTube

The answer is obviously YES. He has a new album coming out later this year, and what better way to promote it by throwing a terrible pitch that'll be talked about all over social media and on TV.

Well played, Curtis.

Expectations lowered in Dallas?

The Dallas Cowboys will always be one of the most talked about teams in sports but is this the year that we'll stop hearing pundits predict big things from "Big D"?

Although the NFC East is far from a power house, the Cowboys are going to be a mess in 2014. The loss of defensive leader Sean Lee to a torn ACL is a devastating blow to a Cowboys defense that was embarrassing in 2013. Dallas allowed 6,645 yards and 27 points per game. Can you imagine what that defense will look like without Lee?

Vegas has the over/under on Dallas wins at 7.5. I'll take the under for Jerry's 'Boys.

Here are some of my personal over/under odds for the 49ers Week 1 meeting with the Cowboys:

Frank Gore: O/U-201 rushing yards

Colin Kaepernick-O/U-185 rushing yards

49ers team rushing: O/U-557 rushing yards

Cowboys mentions on SportsCenter: O/U-705

Get ready for a long, long year in Dallas and even more Cowboys coverage from "The Worldwide Leader."

"I have water in my eyes!!"

In one the more unbelievable stories of the day, TMZ Sports reported an LA Kings fans filed a battery report against Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford because Crawford squirted water in the fan's face.

Please read the following in a whiny voice: The fan said he believed the bottle had backwash and water that irritated his eyes.

Isn't a little funny that a fan checking out one of the toughest sports on the planet is complaining about water in his eyes?
