Deputies Searching For Suspect In Attempted Assault
FOOTHILL FARMS (CBS13) – Sacramento Sheriff's deputies are searching for a man they say tried to attack a woman near Foothill Farms on Monday evening.
Deputies say a woman was waiting for a friend to pick her up after having some car troubles on Greenback Lane and Verner Avenue around 8 Monday when a man grabbed her from behind.
The suspect dragged her into a nearby field, but she was able to get away, according to deputies.
Officers searched for the suspect, who ran into a nearby cemetery, but were unable to find him.
