DeMarcus Cousins Fouls Out Of Olympic Game In Under 9 Minutes
RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL (CBS13) — If you missed Sacramento Kings star DeMarcus Cousins in Monday's Olympic game against Venezuela, there weren't many chances to see him.
Cousins fouled out in just under 9 minutes of play in Team USA's 113-69 win.
The Kings star picked up five fouls after intermittent time in the lineup. He started the game for Team USA, but was out after picking up two fouls in the first two minutes of the game.
For the remainder of the game, Cousins played just under seven minutes and drew three more fouls. In Olympic play, a player can only draw five personal fouls before being ejected; the NBA allows six personal fouls.
Cousins finished with 6 points and five rebounds. He also won the opening tip.
