SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) — A girl found in her mother's trunk died as the result of drowning, according to the Sacramento County Coroner.
Aquelin Talamantes, 29, of Davis is accused of murdering 5-year-old Tatiana Garcia in September.
Sacramento Police were alerted by relatives of Talamantes when she arrived at a family member's Sacramento apartment on Pocket Road without her daughter.
Officers contacted Talamantes and searched the trunk of her car where they found the 5-year-old unresponsive in her trunk.
