Victims Of Highway 50 Possible Wrong-Way Crash Identified

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The second of two victims killed in a head-on crash on Highway 50 in Sacramento late Sunday night has been identified.

Just before midnight, a Chevy Silverado and a KIA Sorrento collided head-on on eastbound Highway 50, just east of Interstate 5, according to CHP officer Michael Bradley.

The driver of a Silverado, 50-year-old Ba Dai Le, was taken to the hospital and was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the Sorrento is has been identified as 61-one-year-old Marvin Dale Walker of West Sacramento. Walker died at the scene.

A third car crashed at the scene, but it's not known if that car was involved in the crash. The driver of that vehicle was not injured.

CHP investigators are not ruling out the possibility this incident may have been a wrong-way crash.
