Car Found Submerged In Slough, Crews Investigating
SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) - A car that was found submerged in a slough east of Courtland was unoccupied, say police.
The car was found near Lambert and Herzog Roads, about three miles off of Interstate 5. The Cosumnes Fire Department says they got a report of about a possible car in the water around 11:30 a.m. Monday.
Crews at the scene soon discovered the reported vehicle about 200 yards south of Lambert Road.
The car was reported stolen from Elk Grove.
