Body Found In Leaking Garbage Bag In Sunnyvale
SUNNYVALE, Calif. (AP) -- An autopsy is being conducted on a body that was found inside a large garbage bag that was tossed inside some bushes in Sunnyvale.
Officers from the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety found the body on Sunday morning after receiving a call. The San Jose Mercury News reports that a liquid appearing to be blood was leaking out of the loosely closed bag.
The bag was hidden between two bushes in a residential neighborhood.
Authorities are planning the autopsy to determine the victim's gender, cause of death and possible identity.
