Body Found After Salida House Fire

SALIDA, Calif. (CBS13) – Police are investigating reports of a body being found in a burning home Wednesday evening.

The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department responded to a home at McGinn Avenue and Curtis Street after Salida Firefighters told them they spotted human remains inside an outstructure.

There is no immediate word on the victim's identity or the cause of death.
