NEW YORK—The NBA meetings are underway in New York City with Seattle and Sacramento feeling confident about its chances.
Mayor Kevin Johnson arrived with Senator Darrell Steinberg around 9 a.m. pacific time and major equity investors Vivek Ranadive and Mark Mastrov arrived shortly after.
"We're just going to put our best foot forward," Randavie said.
Ranadive and Mastrov were greeted by 15 Kings fans including two fans that flew in from Sacramento to show support for keeping the team in Sacramento.
"It's Seattle that's asking for a mulligan, not Sacramento," Ranadive said.
