Best Water Slides In Sacramento

Summer in Sacramento means bright sunshine, temperatures exceeding 90 degrees and energetic kids at home looking for something fun to do. Swimming, splashing and playing in cool water is one of best ways to beat the heat, and children and adults alike love water slides. There are commercial and municipal options all over the Sacramento region.

The Splash Park, part of the Cordova Recreation and Park District, is an excellent spot for children's aquatic fun. There are two water slides; an orange slide for riders at least 42" tall and a yellow one for users 46" and above. The park also has a large play structure equipped with canons, a dump bucket and water jets, and the whole facility is gated. There is a $1 fee to use the water slides and riders are given wristbands to help lifeguards easily identify them and keep everyone safe. All of the other activities at the splash park are free. The environment is especially nice for younger children as the park offers plenty of fun without being overly raucous.
