Best Restaurants For Father's Day Dinner Weekend In Sacramento

Hook & Ladder supports the locals as well as the local wineries, ranches, breweries, and farms in their kitchen and bar. They boast of having the finest serving staff, bartenders, and chefs to provide a customer experience demonstrating hometown pride. They serve brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. As a farm-to-fork restaurant, they carry numerous items from the local farms. Things are run a little differently at the Firehouse Restaurant, located in Old Sacramento. Here, you will find they offer valet parking at lunch Monday through Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., excluding holidays and the month of December. Additionally, they have a dress code of business casual. Unlike many downtown establishments, they do not allow dogs that are non-service dogs on the premises. If you have a large family celebrating with dad, this place may be the ticket as they offer the Courtyard, the Courtyard Grill, the Golden Eagle Room, the Golden Eagle Salon, the Main Dining Room, the Wine Cellar Room I and the Wine Cellar Room II. Owner James Seyman founded the Tower Café on Earth Day, 1990. They specialize in items from across the world such as Piag's Thai Steak, Jamaican Jerk Chicken, and their award winning French Toast. Tower is on the KCRA 3 A List for Best Brunch in Sacramento. Dining can be enjoyed in their unique dining room, where you will think you are in another country or out in the garden. Brothers Matt and Fred Haines founded the 33rd Street Bistro in 1995. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a casual environment seven days a week. They also offer bar drinks and over 40 wines on their wine list. Every Monday they offer kids eat free (12 and under) with an adult entrée purchase. They also have a private banquet room that accommodates up to 45 guests if you are planning a large party for dad this Father's Day. The room sports a drop down screen and LCD projector. The first Thursday of each month they have live music, featuring Ryan Hernandez.

Last but not least is Dad's Kitchen of Food Network fame. Guy Fieri featured their signature bleu cheese bacon-crusted five dot ranch burger patty on Diner's Drive Ins and Dives. You can see the clip on their website if you missed the show. If the children are joining you for the Father's Day meal, they offer a great variety of children's favorites. Selections include grilled cheese, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, spaghetti and meatballs, and a new favorite: chicken strips.
