Herself Moms has two locations to focus on the minds and bodies of prenatal and postpartum women; babies are welcome to come and enjoy bouncers, swings and more. Specialized yoga helps prepare moms' bodies for delivery, and informational classes include "Must-Have Tools for Labor" and how to find the right pediatrician. Postpartum sculpting yoga helps build — and rebuild — the strength and stamina for the big day. An ongoing moms' support group led by a licensed therapist is offered and a program for moms and dads called "Mine, Yours, Ours: A Relationship Survival Guide for Baby's 1st Year" will help strengthen the bonds between parents and children. Additionally, Herself Moms offers "signing time" classes recommended for moms of babies 2 months and older. The program teaches parents how to communicate with their little ones before they can talk.

More than 500 Sacramento-area mothers get together twice a year for huge events coordinated by JBF; the purpose is to share and recycle things their kids have outgrown. Moms will love the chance to shop for incredible deals on items including strollers, cribs, toys, furniture, shoes, baby gear; maternity outfits are available as well as clothes for kids from birth to teenagers. Only high quality, current, clean and complete brand-name items are included and moms can make money as well as shop.  Sign up to consign recycled items with JBF and receive 65 percent of the proceeds and save up to 70 percent off purchases by volunteering to help at the sale. Insider tip: The next big event is at the Sacramento Convention Center — yes, it's that big — from March 23 to 25.
