Sophie Cranston, a British designer who worked at Alexander McQueen and Alice Temperley before starting her own label Libelula (dragonfly in Spanish), was among those in the frame as Kate Middleton's rumored wedding dress designer. Cranston, 34, is known for her use of vibrant prints and feminine shapes. Middleton was spotted wearing a Cranston creation - a tailored, silk velvet, black dress coat - back in January for friends Harry Aubrey-Fletcher and Louise Stourton's wedding.
