Authorities say Megan Welter, a 20-year-old cheerleader for the NFL's Arizona Cardinals who served in the Army in Iraq, is accused of assaulting her boyfriend.
Scottsdale police say Welter was arrested July 20 on charges of disorderly conduct, alleged assault and criminal damage.
CBS affiliate KPHO reports the argument stemmed from a text message Welter's boyfriend received from a former girlfriend.
