Calif. youth pastor Oscar Duncan murdered
Oscar Duncan, a 23-year-old youth minister with the Boys and Girls Club of Venice, was shot to death on June 4. Prosecutors said he was standing with his girlfriend in front of a residence in Los Angeles when a white car with several male occupants came up to them and shouted a gang name before firing a single shot into Duncan's head, killing him.
Los Angeles County prosecutors said they charged suspected gang member Kevin Dwayne Green, 28,on Tuesday with the murder of the youth pastor. He was also charged with a separate count of second-degree robbery that allegedly occurred May 21 and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm. If convicted he faces a minimum of 50 years to life in prison.
Hopeton Beresford Parsle, 22, was reportedly arrested Monday along with Green but it is unclear what charges he will face and when he will be arraigned.
