Sen. Vincent Hughes announces new grant funds to Philly community groups
Some groups are celebrating new funding to help prevent violence in their area. Senator Vincent Hughes announced on Thursday the new state violence and intervention grant funds that have been awarded to community groups in Philadelphia. A grant check for over $800,000 was presented to Episcopal Community Services.
