PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - It is called a menstrual migraine headache. You may not have heard of it but this headache is one that has all the characteristics of a migraine headache and it occurs along with the menstrual cycle.
If you are a migraine sufferer and you notice that your headaches occur at the same time each month with the cycle and not at other times, you may have what is called a pure menstrual migraine.
The reason why this is important to know is because you can get treatment to prevent them from occurring.
You should not suffer with migraines. They can be prevented or aggressively treated.
