Remember This? Which Do You Prefer: Heat or Snow?

On Wednesday AccuWeather was talking about the extended forecast for the coming winter. But the days of fluffy white snow are a long way off, especially considering there was a heat advisory in effect for Thursday with a predicted high temperature of 95 degrees.

KYW's Kim Glovas sampled the public's reaction on which extreme they would rather have: snow or heat?

Commuters had some very strong opinions. Some said they definitely prefer the cold, snowy weather, like Jerome:

"Snow"

(Glovas:) "Why?"

"Because you can always put on enough to get warm. Can't take off enough to be cool. That's my theory. I'd rather have it cold."

Others like Bob and Ramsey, however, say after the winter we just had, they like the heat and do not look forward to any more shovelling.

"After the winter we had, we had so much snow this winter, I'd much rather take the heat over the snow any day."

"We're gonna have another rough winter again. Too much heat, too much snow right?"

Take a listen to AccuWeather meteorologist Ken Reeves' winter forecast to find out.
