Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority Awarded $300,000 Grant To Turn Shuttered North Philly School Into Housing For Homeless Veterans
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Environmental Protection Agency announced Thursday a $300,000 grant that will go to the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority. The money will be used to redevelop the former General John Reynolds Public School into housing for homeless veterans.
The site is on the 2300 block of Jefferson Street in North Philadelphia.
The school was closed in 2013.
