Local Man Adds Wilt Chamberlain To His Sixers Tattoo
By Spike Eskin
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Delaware County's Eric Negron is in the process of getting a tribute to the Philadelphia 76ers in the form of a tattoo on his leg. As it turns out, it might actually be the most positive Sixers story of the year.
At the beginning of Febrary, Negron got a portrait of Allen Iverson tatoooed on his leg, the first part of the Sixers-themed mural. The work is being done by Tim Pangburn of Art Machine Productions in Fishtown.
On Tuesday, Negron got part two of the tattoo that will take up about half of his leg, a portrait of Wilt Chamberlain after his 100 point game.
Negron has two sessions left with Pangburn, and will eventually have the numbers the Sixers have retired, the ring from the last championship in 1983, and Eric's dog's paw print. His dog is aptly named, Sixer.
