The killer whale Keiko played Willy in the Free Willy movies. But Keiko is not free himself.
Now, whale experts are thinking about setting Keiko free.
Keiko was only two years old when he was caught in a fishing net in the Atlantic Ocean. He was taken to Mexico, where he later got sick from living in a tank that was too small.
Two years ago Keiko moved to Oregon, and now lives in a humongous new tank.
Veterinarians say he is healthy and could be ready to leave his Oregon home this fall.
But after 17 years in aquariums, Keiko may not remember how to live in the ocean. Before he's freed, whale experts will try to find out whether he will be able to survive in the wild.
