Be On National TV

(CBS)

If you are in New York City, visit The Early Show plaza from Monday through Friday and join weatherman Dave Price at 8 and 8:30 a.m.

So what are you doing at home? Join the fun and be on national TV. Price will make it an experience that will be hard to forget.

Recently, he got a lot of laughs from the U.S. troops on the frontlines in Afghanistan. Thanks to Stars for Stripes, he delivered a morale boost. The fight isn't over but sometimes the soldiers there feel forgotten.

It is easy to forget when a story is not on the front page. That is why, in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, America's therapist Dr. Phil McGraw is encouraging Americans to not grow weary of helping as time marches on.

At CBS News, we are joining forces with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and have been showing the faces of missing children on all of our CBS News programs with the hope they are reunited with their families. If you recognize these children, please call 1-888-544-5475.

We are also raising money by auctioning a Gibson guitar that was signed by many of the stars who appeared at the "Fashion Rocks" special that aired Sept. 9 on CBS. Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani and Billy Idol are some of the stars who signed the guitar. Our online auction runs through Friday, Sept. 16, at midnight ET.

We also are having a special "Week of Wishes" for victims of Hurricane Katrina. Don't forget to e-mail us with your requests. Visit our Week of Wishes section to read about dreams already fulfilled.

With the hope of helping displaced victims, we have a special series called "Rebuilding Your Life." We have offered advice from how to get cash now to getting a job.

If you missed the show, you can still catch the Web-related information by visiting our Online Resources.

And don't forget to nominate the one who wakes you up every morning in a particularly loving or interesting manner. Price might choose your loved one in our weekly tribute to the People Who Wake Up America.

Broadcast from the ground floor of the General Motors Building in New York City, The Early Show reports on the issues of the day and offers viewers an opportunity to reach out and be part of the show.

So just stop by The Early Show Plaza at 59th and Fifth.

No tickets are necessary.
