Video: Cop slapped, sprayed with pesticide by naked man

HOUSTON -- Cellphone video captured an incident last month during which a naked man on a light rail train sprayed an officer with pesticide and slapped him in the face, reports CBS affiliate KHOU.

Video shows a man police identify as Keith Dean, 49, spraying Houston Police Officer P. Fenaglio with a hose from a MetroRail train in the June incident. When the officer pushes the spray hose away, Dean slaps him in the face.

Fenaglio is seen tasing Dean, and he falls to the ground. Dean gets back up, and is tased again and handcuffed.

"What's going on, buddy?" the officer is heard asking Dean. "Stay down, stay down."

Some on social media are praising the officer's restraint in the bizarre situation. Dean's lawyer told KHOU her client's behavior warranted a review by a mental health professional, which she says didn't happen.

Dean was taken into custody and charged with assault on a public servant. He remains jailed on a $5,000 bail.
