UK gets its own version of "Jersey Shore"
(CBS) "Jersey Shore" has gone international - and we don't mean Season 4 filming in Italy.
MTV UK has created its own version of the hit reality show, called "Geordie Shore."
According to the U.K.'s MTV website, "Geordie Shore," which was filmed in Newcastle, will feature "8 loud and proud Geordie lads and lasses who promise to show you a summer you'll never forget!"
Access Hollywood points out that the new "juiceheads" are highly reminiscent of their American "Jersey Shore" counterparts.
"Geordie Shore" will feature Jay who, according to MTV, is rarely pictured with his top on. Looks like Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino might have some competition.
Sophie is described as "a tomboy at heart but has no problem dancing on tables or flashing her boobs." There's also Holly, James, Vicky, Charlotte-Letitia, Greg and Gary.
