LOS ANGELES (CBS) With the help of WhatTheTrend.com, here are the top 10 Twitter topic trends of the week:

1) Soccer/Football

The 18-year-old rebellious soccer player Neymar Jr. had been punished by the coach of Santos FC, and the coach was fired as a result. Manchester United and Liverpool also had their share of tweets.

2) Twitter

A Twitter security flaw affected thousands of users as maliciously tweeted javascript could cause a person to execute commands just by clicking their mouse over a link on Twitter.com.

3) NFL

Football is in full swing. Michael Vick returned to the NFL, starting in his first game since his dog-fighting arrest.

4) RBD

A fan of former pop group RBD recorded an unintentionally hilarious YouTube video, complaining about how a website had written RDB instead of RBD.

5) Brazilian VMAs

The Brazilian VMAs aired and were hosted by Roberto Justus. The most discussed trend was how every time the Brazilian "happy rock" band Restart was awarded a category on the MTV Video Music Brazil awards, they were booed from the audience.

6) Justin Bieber

Bieber continues his reign on the Twitter charts after winning the Brazilian VMA for "Best International Video." Brazilian fans showed their love.

7) Bishop Eddie Long

Prominent church leader Eddie Long was accused on Tuesday of coercing two of his male members into having sex when they were teens. A total of four men have come forward.

8) Harry Potter

A trailer for the upcoming "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" has been released.

9) Yom Kippur
