The 'Next Pavarotti' Is Back

Russell Watson has performed for the pope, Queen Elizabeth and several presidents. Saturday morning, he performs for the Second Cup Café.

The Manchester, England, native has gathered legions of fans around the globe since his breakthrough release "The Voice." And after a short time away from the spotlight, he is back with "Amore Musica."

Watson recorded it after surgery on one of his vocal cords, and it reflects what his forced hiatus meant to him. Some of the song titles from his new album tell his story: "You Raise Me Up," "I Believe," "You'll Still Be There For Me," "Pray For The Love," "I'll Walk With God" (the Mario Lanza classic) and "We Will Stand Together," as well as the title track, which celebrates "Love and Music."

"Amore Musica" is his fourth album for the Decca label.

Watson has been called "the next Pavarotti" and was dubbed the "people's tenor" by the British press. Don't miss his performance on the Saturday Early Show.
