"The Hunger Games": Watch the new trailer

(CBS) This year's Super Bowl odds are in favor of "The Hunger Games" fans.

A new trailer for the highly-anticipated film was released Thursday, and will air this weekend during the NFL's big game on Sunday, according to E!.

This clip gives a closer look at Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and her bond with younger sister Prim. We also see more of the Reaping (when two "tributes" are chosen from each district to fight to the death).

There are also glimpses of Donald Sutherland, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Lenny Kravitz and Stanley Tucci.

The trailer's release comes exactly 50 days before "The Hunger Games" hits theaters on March 23.
