(CBS News) A new trailer for "The Dark Knight Rises" has arrived online, just over a month before the film opens in theaters.

The clip, released Tuesday, features explosions and action scenes, but also shows some of the movie's funnier moments.

Pictures: Summer films 2012

The main emphasis in this clip is villain Bane (Tom Hardy), who says he is "Gotham's reckoning." At one point, he's seen tossing the Caped Crusader's mask to the ground.

There's also a closer look at Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a Gotham City police officer, who talks with a young boy about if Batman is "ever coming back," and glimpses of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman.

The trailer ends with a pair of amusing moments - one where Wayne learns his "wife" said he'd take a cab home, and another of trusted butler Alfred (Michael Caine) telling him, "Don't worry, Master Wayne. It takes a little time to get back in the swing of things."

"The Dark Knight Rises" hits theaters on July 20.
