Taylor Swift: Nothing is going on in my love life right now

(CBS) Taylor Swift isn't just not dating anyone: She's single with no prospects. The 21-year-old talked to Ellen DeGeneres on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" about not being in a relationship.

"I don't even have, like, kind of a boyfriend," Swift said on the show, according to People magazine. "I don't have someone that I'm texting that is a guy that someday might be my boyfriend. There's like nothing going on right now."

The singer joked about sitting at home alone and watching "Law & Order" with Degeneres. But, Swift said she's okay with singledom. The singer, who's been linked Joe Jonas, Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Lautner at one point or another, said she doesn't want the to be the girl that bounces from relationship to relationship.

"If you're the girl that needs a boyfriend, and once she loses that boyfriend needs to replace it with a different boyfriend, it's just this constant stream of boyfriends all the time," the country singer told Degeneres. "I don't feel like I ever want to be that girl."

Being single doesn't mean that Swift hasn't been busy. She recently launched her first fragrance, "Wonderstruck," and told the Hollywood Reporter that she's already written 25 songs for a fourth studio album, which she hopes to release around October 2012.
