Taylor Swift continues album chart reign

Taylor Swift continues her reign as queen of the Billboard Top 200 album chart.

The country/pop singer leads the tally for the third consecutive week with "Red," selling 196,000 copies, according to Billboard, which cites Nielsen SoundScan numbers. "Red" has now sold a total of 1.75 million copies in the U.S.

Swift, 22, topped the debut of the "Now 44" (99,000) compilation and Rod Stewart's "Merry Christmas, Baby," which remained at No. 3 with 74,000. Ne-Yo, meanwhile, landed in the fourth spot with "R.E.D" (66,000), and Aerosmith debuted at No. 5 with "Music From Another Dimension," its first new album of all new, original, material since 2001. The rock band's set sold 63,000 copies in its first week.

Earlier this week, Swift won three MTV Europe honors: best female, best live and best look. See how she reacted to the wins:
