Taliban Claims Killing U.S.Troops In Nuristan

Taliban's spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid claimed the group's fighters killed 40 U.S. and Afghan soldiers in an attack on a military outpost in Nuristan province on Sunday. The statement, which was posted on the Taliban's website, said four Taliban fighters were killed and ten wounded in the attack. It also claimed that the Taliban has Waigal district under its control after launching a second attack on the districts offices and all checkpoints in Nuristan province.
