NEW YORK (CBS) Who is the Grand Master? That was the question of the night Wednesday when two contestants - one from each tribe - were kicked off "Survivor: Nicaragua."

Marty laid claim to the title when he told gullible Fabio that he was a grand master in chess (not true) with an Argentine mentor (who was actually a tennis player). But Brenda's actions indicate the title may be rightfully hers.

She concocted a scheme for her group to split their six votes between Marty and Kelly B. She hoped this would flush out the idol that everyone knows Marty has and get rid of an amputee tribe member whose disability was seen as likely to sway the jury, should she make it to the final round.

Marty never produced the idol, but it didn't matter because a second round of voting ousted Kelly B. What does matter is the new animosity between Marty and Brenda and where it will lead in future episodes.

In Espada's tribal council, Yve, deemed the toughest competitor, is eliminated by a unanimous vote from the rest of the tribe.
