He simply couldn't maintain focus on his business priorities and was forever going off at a tangent whenever anything new and exciting popped up on his radar.

Of course, we should always be on the lookout for innovations or concepts that can help us grow and prosper, but not at the cost of sticking to a path that has been considered and designed.
