Share PowerPoint Presentations with SlideShare

Remember SlideShare, the YouTube-like Web service for uploading and sharing presentations? We're big fans, but we don't love all the steps involved in using it: fire up your browser, head to the site, log in, and upload your PPT file, etc.

Now PowerPoint 2007 users have a better option: the SlideShare ribbon, which enables one-click presentation uploads. After installing the plug-in, just click Publish to send your presentation on its merry way. You can also download presentations, search SlideShare's library, view presentation usage metrics, and so on.

You can see the SlideShare ribbon in action in the above video. Definitely a must-have extra for PowerPoint 2007 users who want a faster way to leverage SlideShare. The plug-in is free, of course, as is the service. [via ReadWriteWeb]
