Salahis "Crash" David Letterman's Monologue

Michaele and Tareq Salahi apparently aren't finished with their party crashing days.

The couple accused of crashing the White House State Dinner in November 2009 "crashed" CBS' "The Late Show with David Letterman" during Letterman's monologue Tuesday night.

The couple sashayed from behind stage up to Letterman and posed next to him while cameramen snapped up to take their picture. After standing there for a few moments silently, the Salahis left the stage.

"For all practical purposes, they're trespassing -- but the crowd goes wild," Letterman said.

Later, he added, "If those people crashed a party of mine... and they showed up, they wouldn't bother me. Seem like nice people; what do I know."

The Salahis remain under investigation for attending last year's State Dinner without an invitation. The White House's more recent State Dinner for the Mexican president went off without a hitch -- although the Salahis' car was pulled over when their driver allegedly ran a red light near the White House during the event.
