Roth IRA Conversions: Summary
As we've seen this week, there are a number of important things to consider regarding Roth IRA conversions. And there are many more things to consider that we weren't able to cover here.
A decision like this is exceptionally complicated. It's important to consult your investment advisor if you believe converting your traditional IRA to a Roth IRA may make sense. Also, as with any decisions that involve taxes, you should consult a tax planner to find out what issues may impact you the most specifically.
