Professor Charles Xavier

Real Name: Charles Francis Xavier
History: The Professor is the founder and leader of the X-Men and of the School for Gifted Youngsters. The supreme genius completed high school at age 16 and went on to receive a PhD in genetics and is regarded as a genetics expert. An undisclosed accident left him paralyzed and wheel-chair bound.
Powers: He's considered the most powerful telepath in the world. He has extra sensory perception and the power to manipulate thoughts, sometimes even appearing in the minds of others.
