Post Claims Dissatisfied Hamas' Members Turning to Al Qaeda

A militant Islamist forum member who claimed to be a member of al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the militant Islamist Palestinian group Hamas, asked in a post on Wednesday if al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden would accept him as one of his soldiers.

The writer, who used the name "Truth Seeker," said he was misled by Hamas' leaders who first turned away for Islamist militancy and towards nationalism. "Many of the mujahideen brothers in al Qassam are beginning to see the truth now…your soldiers are so close to setting up the foundations," said the post.
