Piper Perabo and "Covert Affairs" return for second season
(CBS) The Piper Perabo-starring guilty pleasure series "Covert Affairs" returns Tuesday night for a second season.

The first season ended with Perabo's character, Annie Walker, being reunited with her ethically shaky sometime boyfriend and a trip to Sri Lanka.
The show became a summer hit last year. Its premise - a rookie CIA agent becomes a top operative - is absurd but that's one of the things that makes it fun.
Season two of "Covert Affairs" begins at 10 p.m. Tuesday with a season one marathon until 2 p.m.
