Ozzfest
CBS
(CBS)Ozzy Osbourne comes back to haunt us, proving that the beast cannot be tamed. The 2nd annual Ozzfest will hit 21 US cities this summer and promises to send chills down even the most seasoned heavy metal fan's spine.

Osbourne, joined by other members of the recently resurrected Black Sabbath, could be expected to croon to the usual tunes of such classics as "Suicide Solution" and "Diary of a Madman." Though he's given up his former onstage habit of biting off bat heads, Osbourne will surely thrill.

The success of last year's Ozzfest, the second highest grossing tour behind the Lilith Fair, has given rise to the birth of other heavy metal festivals. The Family Values tour featuring the platinum, rap-metal band Korn, will also hit this summer.

Osbourne will be joined by friends Marilyn Manson, Pantera, Type O Negative, Fear Factory, Machine Head, Powerman 5000, downset, Vision of Disorder, Coal Chamber, SloBurn, Neurosis and Drain S.T.H.

Finally, don't put it past the infamous Marilyn Manson to stir some trouble. The bible-ripping shocksters were banned from playing Giants Stadium at last summer's Ozzfest. A Federal ruling in Manson's favor saved the day.

Venue:

This festival will travel to 21 US cities.
