Operation YouTube Smackdown

Militant Islamist Internet forum members launched a campaign to post jihadi propaganda material on Youtube. Several posted messages explained ways for preparing and posting video clips on the popular video posting website. To counter this propaganda proliferation, an operation aiming to rid Youtube of jihadi material has been launched by a group of bloggers who scan the website for extremists' videos and report them to Youtube's management. The latter group seems to have succeeded in having dozens of files removed and many accounts suspended.
